Coffins in Egyptian times were highly decorated with inscriptions and representations of gods, like Anubis, who would protect the dead person on the journey to the next world. The body would be mummified before it was placed into the wooden coffin, as it had to be preserved for it to enjoy the afterlife. This 5.9cm tall miniature bronze is made of a base white metal and bronze plated.

The mini bronze is supplied in a clear acetate box with an insert showing hieroglyphic images and historical information.
