South Africa Medal miniature reproduction with ribbon. The South Africa Medal was awarded to Royal Navy, Army and Colonial Units who took part in operations between 26 Spetember 1877 and 20 November 1879
Medal description: (obverse) Wyon profile of the Queen Victoria; (reverse) a British lion drinking at a waterhole beside a protea shrub, a Zulu shield and four crossed assegais (spears) being in the exergue
The medal is 17mm wide and is made from lead-free pewter and silver plated
The card has a full colour painting of the defence of Rorke's Drift on the front and historical information on the back.
