The history of the exiled Stuart dynasty and their supporters, known as Jacobites, has held an enduring and romantic fascination for generations, from the writings of Sir Walter Scott to the ‘Outlander’ books and television series.

Our range draws on the secret symbols and emblems that were used to signify support for the Jacobite cause, including their main emblem, the white rose.

This tea towel depicts many of the beautiful Jacobite glass found in our collection, as well as common phrases and drinking toasts of the time
