‘Fair Isle’ is a traditional knitting technique used to create patterns with multiple colours and named after the island of Fair Isle, situated off the north coast of Scotland, between Shetland and Orkney.  Our new range is inspired by various pieces of Fair Isle knitwear in our collection, including a jumper worn by the artist Stanley Cursiter that features in his painting ‘The Fair Isle Jumper’, 1923.

This bone china mug is perfect for a warm cuppa in the morning, (or a hot toddy at night!)
