The University of Edinburgh awarded her the honorary degree of LLD in 1948 for her creation of Am Fasgadh. This title was published for National Museums Scotland by NMS Enterprises Ltd - Publishing with the European Ethnological Research Centre, as part of the Flashbacks series.
